We are the youth group of the local branch Hamburg-Nord, one of seven local associations in the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg.
The THW-Jugend is the youth organization Technisches Hilfswerk.
For young people who love fun and excitement, are interested in technology and still want to find good friends who THW youth is the right youth organization. Under the motto "Playing Help learning" can girls and boys aged 10 to 18 who are a member of the THW youth.
The THW youth has set itself the goal to bring the young people in a playful way to the art of the THW. However, in addition to the training in this area, such as Stegbau, transporting injured, illumination of emergency response centers and other subject-related activities, which should account for about one third of the annual program, great emphasis is placed on general youth work.
That said, there are regular games, film, craft and barbecues, walks, excursions, cycling and much more offered. Furthermore, for example, are also technical assistance or environmental actions in the program. The frequency of events of the youth group is very different.
